Welcome!

My name is Greg Burnette and I will be your child’s physical education teacher this year at Bridgeview Elementary School. In physical education we want to promote lifelong physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Throughout the year in physical education we will be working on many different skills including locomotor, sports-based, and fitness related. My goal as your child’s physical education teacher is to not only have them be more active in school, but also after school with friends and family. I would like to announce the exciting news that Bridgeview School will continue using the FitnessGram testing program this year with grades 3-6! Towards the end of the year we will be promoting a walk-a-thon that students at Bridgeview will be participating in as well as an end of the year Field Day. This year physical education will be filled with many exciting and fun things for your child to experience. I am so excited to be starting my fifth year at Bridgeview School and getting the opportunity to work with such tremendous students.
